If you're looking for a fun addition to your Baby Shower, or any party, "candy roses" are a sure hit! I used to sell TONS of these, but they're a bit time consuming to make, and quite a bit touchy to ship in warm weather (they melt!)

They're simple to make though, if you've got the time and your guests will truly adore them! I've shown step by step photo instructions so you can make favors like a pro :)

Make them with 2 "kisses", or 1 "hugs" and 1 "kiss" ~ you can even dress them up more by adding a personalized tag ~ here's a few examples of text we used ....

Hugs & Kisses from Baby ____________

A rose made of kisses from the new Mr. & Mrs.

Best wishes on a wonderful celebration!

Supplies ~ Step #1: : 5" square paper (2 squares), bamboo stick, 2 pieces of candy, wired leaf, floral tape

Step #2: hold candy flat bottoms together

Step #3: fold squares of paper over candy

Step #4: fold remaining 2 corners of paper around candy

Step #5: while holding paper in place around candy, place bamboo stick in center of paper folds ~ reaching the tip of the bottom candy piece

Step #6: twist loose ends of paper around bamboo stick (can be secured with clear tape if you're doing a bunch at a time and want to do the floral tape later)

Step #7: secure paper to stick with floral tape

Step #8: secure wired leaf ... set behind "bud" and wrap wire around the area of the stick already covered in floral tape

SStep #9: starting at the base of the bud, wrap the entire area from paper down to tip of stick in floral tape (sometimes the very end of the wire from the leaf will poke through the tape ... just push it down with your fingernail and it will embed in the tape)

These are adorable 'bunched' together in a vase ~ use as centerpieces on your tables, and then they double as favors!
